SmILE contributes to the WHO European Strategy on Healthy Ageing and Ageing in Place

SmILE project invites you to participate in a short voluntary survey (approximately 15 minutes) focused on innovation for healthy ageing and ageing in place.

The survey contributes to the development of the WHO European Strategy “Ageing is Living: Promoting a Lifetime of Health and Well-being in the WHO European Region (2026–2030)”, where innovation is recognised as a key component in strengthening public health approaches and supporting older people to live independently and actively within their communities.

This initiative is being conducted in collaboration with Dr Luc de Witte and his team at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. The work includes horizon scans exploring innovative approaches that promote health, independence, and social participation among older people, including:

  • Service models
  • Community initiatives
  • Digital solutions

We kindly invite professionals, researchers, policymakers, innovators, and other stakeholders working in the field of healthy ageing to participate in the survey or share it with relevant colleagues and networks.
